By Air - Geneva Airport is just a 1 hours easy drive from Chamonix along motorways or dual carriageways. Geneva is served by low cost airlines Easyjet and Thomas Cook, alongside schedule airlines BA and SwissAir, with regular flights from many of the UK's airports all year round. Car hire or airport transfers can be arranged from Geneva to bring you directly to Chamonix.
By Car - Chamonix is a 560 mile drive from Calais, which is easily served by the ferry or tunnel. Chamonix has plenty of free parking available all year round.
By Train - Chamonix has a SNCF station in the centre of town. This links up with the longer distance faster TGV service but travel to Chamonix is unlikely to be direct and will involve changes. Eurostar also runs a train service from London to the Alpes.
